Right on the beach is the tropical style Anantasila Hua Hin - Takiab Bay Beach Hua
Hin
About 100 meters walk from the beach is Ocean Breeze Hua Hin Takiab Beach This beach is very different from the main beach in Hua Hin, as it faces a more southerly direction the tide makes little difference and the beach at Takiab Bay and Suan Son beach ( altogether perhaps 5 km or more long ) stays wide all day and also in the evenings, so you can swim all day long and take walks along the beach at sunset and in the evenings. There are palm trees and Casurina tress along the beach, also some great beach cafes, beach restaurants and beach bars so it gives a very tropical style to this stretch of beach. You can see the small offshore islands and take boat trips around the islands, very different !

Very nice area, the best beach in Hua Hin certainly.
Also do look at the holiday bungalows at the Balivana Hua Hin which has a choice of air conditioned fully serviced holiday bungalows, many with their own gardens and some with their own small splash pools.

Also look on the Khao Takiab beach section of the forum as lots more details of the hotels and places you can stay in the Khao takiab beach area of Hua hin,
lovely beach are, beach sports, water sports, beach cafes, beach bars and restaurants.  Bungalows with their own small pools at Coral keys Hua

Hua Hin still manages to attract a lot of visitors and a high number of return visitors. I guess there are plenty who prefer the more Thai style beach resorts
like Hua Hin than some of the other over commercial orientated places
